Some days don't go as planned... they go better.

Felicia and I left this morning to transport a mama dog and her pups to a rescue in New Roads, 

but before we even got there, the universe had other plans. Just a few miles from the house, we saw two sweet pups in a ditch. Confused, scared, and unsure… but still wagging.  💕

Because that’s what dogs do. They hope! And of course, Felicia did everything to keep them from running across the highway!

If gaining a puppy’s trust were an Olympic sport, she’d have the gold medal every time. 🏅 Watching fear melt into tail wags never gets old.

By the end of the day:

✔️ A brave mama and her babies made it safe to rescue

✔️ Two ditch pups were no longer alone

This is why we do it.

This is why we stop.

This is why no detour is ever really a detour in rescue. 🐾❤️

Meet Marley!

Stolen, found, & finally heading toward safety. 🩵

We helped transport Marley from St. Tammany Parish Department of Animal Services to Baton Rouge, where he caught a private flight to DeRidder.  ✈️

Every mile matters and seeing that tail wag as he boarded the plane reminded me exactly why we do this.  🐶

I love seeing everyone jump on board for a leg of the trip on these transports! I have been able to meet so may amazing animal lovers along the way!

Meet Miss Daisy! 

🚗 Driving Miss Daisy… to the good life! 🐾💕

Today, Miss Daisy hit the road in style…freshly bathed, tail wagging, and ready for her next chapter. She’s headed to a loving hospice foster home where she’ll be spoiled rotten and cherished for every single day she’s got left. ❤️

She took one last stroll around the sanctuary before hopping in the truck to meet our amazing friends at Jenny Lazo & Associates in Hammond, who played chauffeur for the final stretch to Ville Platte! 🛻💨

We can’t thank her new foster mama enough for opening her heart and home. This sweet girl may be in her golden years, but she’s got so much love left to give and now she’s finally in a place where she can just be loved.

Because every dog deserves a soft landing. 🐶🌈

Lost & Found: A Tail of Love Across States 

Meet this sweet pup, Molly, who was taken from her mama in Maryland and ended up “lost” all the way in Saint Tammany Parish. 💔 Her mom knew in her gut something wasn’t right and had a strong feeling that someone had taken her beloved girl down South.

She kept searching… and finally spotted her in a photo from STPDAS. 😱💻 That’s when the race began to verify ownership, rally volunteers, and figure out how to get her baby HOME. 🏡❤️

Thanks to the help of so many compassionate people, her journey home has officially begun! ✨🚌🐶 She has 14 legs and one sleep until she’s back!

Not every transport is the same. Some are tough. Some take a village. But this one? This one hits the heart in the best way. 💖

We can’t wait to see the moment this sweet girl is back in her mama’s arms. Get the tissues ready for that reunion video! 🎥😭💕 Im so happy for this sweet baby and her very excited momma!! ❤️

Red Day Transport Mission

For Red Day I chose transport and today we hauled nine precious pups on a portion of their journey from Texas all the way to NY, NH & NJ for their forever homes. 🏡🐶

Meet Rio, Ranger, and Grace!

🚗💨 Christa and I just hit the road for Leg 5 of 25, helping three sweet pups—Rio, Ranger, and Grace—on their journey from Spring, TX to Eastford, CT!

Rio and Ranger are heading to a special needs rescue where they’ll get the care and love they deserve, and Grace is on her way to her forever home! 🥳

So grateful my real estate business gives me the flexibility to do my part in rescue work. Homes for people, homes for pets—it’s all connected. 🏡

Meet Smiley!

🚗💨 On the road again—this time with a very special passenger!

After wrapping up my morning meetings, I met up with Christa to scoop up Smiley, a sweet pup who was at risk of euthanasia. Now, we’re headed to D’Iberville, MS, where Smiley will hop on the next leg of his journey to Monteverde, FL where he will finally be at his fur-ever home! 🏡🐾

Meet Chester!

We had the pleasure of picking up sweet Chester and bringing him to the St. Francis team! Mardi Paws and St Francis Animal Sanctuary & Rescue through the support of Tito's Handmade Vodka are also helping this angel face make his way up north to live his best life! He has the cutest walk and is so gentle. Someone is going to be a lucky adopter when they get this handsome boy!! 🥰

Meet Beau!

This is just 1 of 40 dogs headed up north to live his best life! When we arrived to pickup Beau, we couldn’t believe this sweet baby wasn’t adopted yet. Mardi Paws and St Francis Animal Sanctuary & Rescue are at it again! Stay tuned for the next Transport to the North.

Last year, we sponsored 22 dogs, provided a pet pantry to Washington Parish, did a donation match for give Nola day and provided medical equipment to help reduce the cost of spays/neuters for St. Francis Animal Sanctuary.
