Sold Homes Save Lives
The Monthly, June 2026
Southeast Louisiana's Rescue Realtor 🏡🐾
A note from Jenny
He found me. I think he always knew he would.
Captain, reporting for duty. Co-agent. Chaos coordinator. Forever boy.
If you read last month's newsletter, you met a scrappy little black and white dog I was spotlighting through St. Francis Animal Sanctuary and Rescue. I featured him because I believed in him. Because I wanted someone to see what I saw.
Well. Turns out that someone was me.
Y'all, I adopted him. His name is Captain, and he has fully taken over my office, my couch, my heart, and apparently my laptop. He has already introduced himself to Rory and the rest of the crew, and the verdict is in. He is home.
The Lazo pack, officially complete. Or at least that is what I keep telling Marcos.
This is exactly what Sold Homes Save Lives means to me. Every time I spotlight an animal, every time I sponsor a rescue, every time one of my closings funds a life being saved, it is real. It is personal. And sometimes, it comes home with you.
Thank you for being part of this mission. You make it possible every single day.
Your market update
Southeast Louisiana is moving, and moving fast.
I want to give you a real picture of what is happening out there right now because the market is genuinely active and there is opportunity on both sides of the table.

If you have been thinking about selling, this is a conversation worth having. Inventory is moving, buyers are active, and homes that are priced and marketed right are not sitting. I have three new listings coming to market soon and would love to talk through what your home could do in this environment.
And if you are thinking about buying, getting pre-approved and having a strategy in place right now puts you ahead of the people who are still waiting to see what happens. Give me a call and we will make a plan together.
Rescue report
Seven lives changed this month. Seven.
🐾 What your closings are doing
🐾 3 dogs currently sponsored at St. Francis Animal Sanctuary and Rescue
🐾 1 dog sponsored at St. Tammany Department of Animal Services
🐾 4 dogs sponsored at St. Tammany Department of Animal Services, all adopted into forever homes this month
🐾 1 dog featured in last month's newsletter, adopted by me.
Four sponsored dogs found their forever homes this month at St. Tammany Department of Animal Services. Four families said yes. Four lives that were waiting for someone to believe in them, and they got it.
This is why I do what I do. Real estate is the vehicle. This is the mission.
If you want to learn more about St. Francis Animal Sanctuary and Rescue or St. Tammany Department of Animal Services, I would love to connect you. These organizations need our support year round, not just when it is convenient.
From the heart
The two phone calls that made my week.
This month I received two referrals from past clients. Two people who trusted me with one of the biggest decisions of their lives came back and said, "I know someone who needs you." There is no greater compliment in this business. To those two clients, you know who you are, thank you from the bottom of my heart. That means everything to me.
If you know someone who is thinking about buying or selling in Southeast Louisiana, I would be so honored for the introduction. Every referral you send helps a family find their next chapter and helps a rescue animal find theirs too.
Ready to talk real estate?
Whether you are thinking about buying, selling, or have no idea where to start, I am always here. No pressure, no rush. We got this.
